So far, the only vocal participant in the beef between Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel has been Beans, and he recently took to the airwaves not only to continue to send jabs at Jay but to also discuss what he anticipates Jigga's first move to be.
During the interview with DJ On & On, the Philly Rapper not only points out lyrics in Jay-Z album, Blueprint 3, that could be conceived as subliminal shots, but also insinuates that the Jay copied after his style on several songs.
"On The Solution album...I had a song on that joint with no hook on it. I told him it didn't need a hook on it. He got a song [where he says] 'I don't need no hook for this shit' [No Hook from American Gangster]. I had a song on there called Prayer, he got a song called Pray," said Sigel.
When asked if he thought Jay receives the same amount of respect he does, Beans' responded: "He got respect as far as his talent, not as the individual he (is...it's a facade. Because now he is turning his back on the things that got him there, how can you accept that?"
As far as Jay-Z's first move, Beans says: "Dude's so manipulative, that is what Jay do. I credit him for the moves he make but I'm nice at chess, too. They have got a record supposed to come out, the remix to that
Beans also went on to say that it's too late for a simple talk between the two rappers. "No. We gotta do it televised now. It'll be over but our face to face conversation gotta be televised because the public wants to know. They deserve to know."
