Another message, "$1 per fan will get me out of jail," attempts to sum up the importance of even the smallest donation.
Though things may not be looking great for the rapper financially, producer Dame Grease says all is well as far as his appeal is concerned.
"The appeal is looking good. I actually now speak with him every other day, and he's good. He's good and that's what counts," Grease told VladTV. "I hate people when they talk about 'Yo Max music, I need mad music.' He's good and that's what counts. Family's good. Just working it, working the process. Gotta put the appeal in, got to put the dates in, gotta go through situations, many people gotta do what they gotta do. You know what I'm saying?"
Yo! Raps previously reported on Max B's charges in connection with a 2006 robbery turned murder involving his former girlfriend Gina Conway and stepbrother Kelvin Leerdam.
Conway received 15 years in jail as a result of her role in the murder, Leerdam was ordered to 35, and Max B was sentenced to 75 years.
